In an era of plasma cutters and laser/computer generated figures, Gary still uses a hand-held flame cutting torch to cut his artistic designs out of steel plate, and is known by his peers as one of the best 'cutters' in the country. Gary's ability to grind extraordinary features into the steel reflect his unusual talents and dedication to detail. Gary uses his torch's heat to color the art and has recently devised a patina that many of his wall hangings exhibit. All of The Iron Gallery's work is made by hand; a very unusual claim in this age.

Colorado Sunset

The wall hanging is all steel 32"x32". All of the wall hangings are handmade one at a time. The colors are from a special use of oxidizing patinas. The trees are hand cut and welded to the plate. The mounting brackets are supplied with the order.
