In an era of plasma cutters and laser/computer generated figures, Gary still uses a hand-held flame cutting torch to cut his artistic designs out of steel plate, and is known by his peers as one of the best 'cutters' in the country. Gary's ability to grind extraordinary features into the steel reflect his unusual talents and dedication to detail. Gary uses his torch's heat to color the art and has recently devised a patina that many of his wall hangings exhibit. All of The Iron Gallery's work is made by hand; a very unusual claim in this age.

Two Dancers

The dancers are 30" tall from the floor to the top of the hand. It is all handmade. The color is from a mixture of different patinas. The Ľ" thick steel is hand cut with a flame torch. After it is detailed, polished, and colored a clear coat is applied to prevent oxidation.
